Privacy policy

Cost of Place is a static site. We do not operate accounts, databases of visitors, or paywalls.

Analytics

We use PostHog to measure page views, feature usage, and report-funnel behavior so we can improve the product. PostHog may use cookies or local storage to keep an anonymous session and support replay on selected pages. We do not use analytics events to collect account profiles because this site has no user accounts.

Session replay is focused on product UX debugging and excludes API routes. Refer to PostHog's privacy policy and your browser's tracker-blocking settings if you prefer to opt out.

Forms

The contact page collects your name, email address, and message so we can respond. When you submit, that information is sent through our hosting provider to an email delivery service (Resend) and delivered to our support inbox. We do not store form submissions in a database; retention is limited to our mailbox and whatever your email provider keeps.

Updates

Changes to this policy will ship with ordinary site deploys. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised language.
